Syntatic foam subsea buoyancy are customized foam modules (blocks) used on ROVs, AUVs, HOVs and marine robotics, oceanographic, offshore oil & gas applications etc. as well to protect seafloor pipelines/cables from the effects of lateral buckling such as pipe clamps, subsea mats. Foam buoyancy modules are available from sea shallow water to subea, up to 7,000 meters depth.
Buoyancy Floats Classifications
This floats are widely applied to rigid or flexible pipes, cables and umbilicals, designed for use in those particularly environmental demanding conditions. They are manufactured with high-density foam material, combined to international standards API 17L.
