Ship launching marine rubber airbags are referred marine airbags, ship launching balloons and rubber roller air bags, applied to protect and assist marine, barge go into water safely. This ship launching marine airbags are manufactured in balloon shape, made of rubber, with air pneumaticed inner side at standard working pressure placed under ships bottom for rolling, shipping. Ship launching with marine airbags is another launching technology, more economical and less labor cost. Marine airbags are sometimes employed for heavy lifting and salvage in fields of water supply, offshore, construction, minerals, oil & gas field. Since born of ship launching marine airbags, it plays importanter. Marine airbags are manufactured as per below standards and two for lauching technology with airbags.
Constructions Feature
As per requirements of iso 14409, our ship launching marine rubber airbags is made of:
One cylindrical roller body and two hemsipherical conical heads at two ends to connect ship launching airbag body and mouths of launching ship airbags. Our pneumatic (inflatable) ship launching airbags is manufactured with original holistic wrapping technology. This technology further enhance strength of ship launching marine airbags.
Reinforcement layers:It is middle layers of ship launching airbags. They are coated with rubber. Our marine airbags are manufactured with one type of synthetic-cire-cord-rubber dipped layers twined at an ideal angles only.
As a reinforcing material, the warp should be at least 90 cords per 100 mm in width, and breaking strength no less than 205 n per cord.
Inner/outer rubber layer:
Inner, outer rubber layers of our rubber ship launching marine airbags have sufficient tensile and tear strength required follows. We comply this requirement completely to iso 14409 and test raw rubber material per order.
Specification Paraments
Standarded specification of ship launching airbag is D x EL,
Below table are generally performances of 7 layers, 8 layers, for 9 layers, 10 layers ship launching marine airbags, welcome to let us know.

Lifting capacity
Lifting capacity of an airbag is based on working pressure and contact areas. While an airbag works, its likely to be following, vary in heights. Contact areas depending on carried ships, position of gravity center from landing to launching. Generally, the capacity is calculated as below:
F=PW1 W1=π(D-H)/2
F-lifting capacity D-diameter of airbag still
P-inner pressure H-diameter of airbag compressed
W1-contact area
How to launch the ship using ship launching airbags
① Prepare airbags and launch accessories like towing winches, air compressor and anchors etc. Inflate airbags to working pressure to test safety and airtightness.
② Clear obstacles and sharp iron or stones from the launch ramp, check the vessel bottom to prevent welding scar from puncture marine airbags.
③ Fasten towing winch with ship. Close all vessel’s valves, fix the helm and screw propeller.
④ Insert airbags between support blocks and inflate till the vessel is fully lift up. Remove the blocks.
⑤ Adjust inner pressure of airbag to low down vessel, generally, bottom vessel can be 0.5m away from ground.
⑥ All mairne airbags should be centered the ship and upright to launching direction.
⑦ Start the towing winch to release the ship slowly. When first airbag rolls out of the tow, move it to the stern and place it at planned position.
⑧ Repeat the former process and move ship to the right position.
⑨ Clean the launching area. When the water depth is enough for launch people may cut off or release the ropes to launch the ship. If the launching water area is limited, people may use towing winch to release ship slowly into the water.
⑩ Reclaim all airbags after launch.

1.PREPARE THE SHIP
Remove all weights from the ship and unload the goods.
Clear up marine lives attached to bottom of ship hull to prevent airbags from stab.
Throughly calculate required airbags quantity based on dimension of ship, weights, drafts.2.RAMPWAY CONDITION
Found ramp way with sufficient bearing capacity.
Enlarge the slop of ramp way till higher than height of kneel blocks.3.MARINE AIRBAGS
Insert small short airbags into bow of ship to lift it up in accordance with ships’ bow type.4.WINCH
Opt appropriate winch and calculate the pulling force out.5.HAULING OUT OPERATING PROCEDURE
1)Tie up the ship.
2)Marine airbags placement.
3)Open the winch to draw ship ahead while bow is jacked up by marine airbags, if have not, increase the number of airbags till rise of bow.
4)Embedded more marine airbags from bow to midship to serve ship hauled to appointed position.
5)Seat ship on lifting airbags first, build blocking height.
