Shipboard Foam Filled Fenders. Among the marine and offshore fendering systems, floating marine foam filled fenders are playing an important role nowdays replacing Yokohama type pneumatic rubber fenders. Foam filled fenders have a superior advantages, more suitable for docking of ships, military, submarine to harbors, offshores applications that they can absorb energy nearly 2 times of similar pneumatic rubber fenders, surely with relatively reation force.
Design of Floating Marine Foam Filled Fenders
Our floating marine foam filled fenders are constructed with closed-cell resilient foam core, with tougher polyurethane elastomer skin, reinforced with nylon filament inner side.
A. Closed cell foam core: Closed cell foam core are with higher hardness, guaranteening good performance of lower reaction force and higher energy absorption. While the foam body skin was carelessly scratched, it will not absorb any water and inner foam core is not gonna to rupture during any compression.
B. Polyurethane elastomer skin: polyurethane skin is self-colored elastomer, anti-corrosion, anti-rust and waterproof, particularly for foam filled fendering systems, reinforced with nylon filament layer. Much more thicker filament and elastomer would be applied to two body ends to further resist defections and shearing forces.
C. Componed with central steel tubes and external two ends of distribution flanges. All end fittings are hot-dip-galvnized. Without the through pipe, all longitudinal chains are joined to Clevis eyes at both ends of one foam fender.
D. Chain fittings and accessories: chains are heavy duty, hot dipped galvanized. This chains carry tensile load, minimizes stress in the foam fenders’ skin.

We provide currently standarded capacity floating marine foam filled fenders. Lower and Higher capacity are optional available meanwhile.
